MLB-SC202-S-SC
The MLB-SC202 series are used to extend serial transmission up to 2 km (MLB-SC202-M with multi-mode fiber) or up to 40 km (MLB-SC202-S with single-mode fiber). The MLB-SC202 series can be configured to convert either RS-232 signals, or RS-422/485 signals to fiber port, but not both at the same time. When an MLB-SC202 converter receives data from fiber port, it will send the data through 2 serial ports. The MLB-SC202 series have a DIP switch is used to setup 2-wire/4-wire operation mode and enable internal termination for RS-422/485 port, and to configure RS-232 port to operate in either DTE or DCE mode.
